Gajjar Halwa
Ingredients
Carrots........2 lbs peel and grate
Unsalted butter....1 stick
Whole milk......4 cups
Sugar.........11/2 cups
Elaichi powder...1tsp
Directions:
In a heavy bottom pan add butter, milk and carrots. Cook on medium heat till milk evaporates. Add sugar and elaichi powder and keep stirring till halwa leaves the sides of the pan.
